Advisory Board - looking for several Indigenous Advisors
At IndigeneArts.com we are building a go-to marketplace for “everything Indigenous" and a community of passionate enthusiasts of Indigenous art and culture from around the world.
We are looking for several Indigenous advisors for our IndigeneArts.com advisory board to ensure that our decisions and actions are culturally appropriate.
Desired qualifications:
- An Indigenous artist, or someone who has a subject matter expertise on Indigenous Art, Culture or Fashion, someone well-known and respected in the Indigenous community.
- Someone who’d have the ability:
- to create meaningful business connections for the IndigeneArts.com marketplace.
- to provide suggestions for opportunities for growth.
- to help us with facilitation, coordination and negotiations of partnerships between Indigenous organizations, Indigenous arts organizations & non-profits and IndigeneArts.com marketplace.
- to represent IndigeneArts.com marketplace in the media and become a face of the marketplace.
- to help us advocate for Indigenous artists.
- to help us spread awareness about IndigeneArts.com marketplace and to recruit best Indigenous artists to sell on our marketplace.
- to provide guidance and direction concerning marketplace development, policy creation, cultural appropriation, and accuracy and authenticity in how we represent and promote Indigenous artists.
- Serve as a liaison between the Canadian and International Indigenous communities.
